Summer barged in like a bully,
Into our quiet conversation,
Over at the shaded corner
Of our favourite playground.
Spring turned her face away,
And slunk off in a, yes, in a sulk.
A rather silly pout, which
We girls chose to ignore, which
Is not fair, but who cares; we
Lean towards the warm embrace
Of our new friend, Summer.
Into our quiet conversation,
Over at the shaded corner
Of our favourite playground.
Spring turned her face away,
And slunk off in a, yes, in a sulk.
A rather silly pout, which
We girls chose to ignore, which
Is not fair, but who cares; we
Lean towards the warm embrace
Of our new friend, Summer.
