Ain't That The Truth? (II)

I've seen this drawing a few times in the last months and every time I see it, I can't help to think, "Ain't that the truth?" At risk of repeating myself... do enjoy.

Spent the weekend harassed by the noise (pollution) of hundred and hundred of Harley-Davidsons driving by slowly and continuously under our living room windows. Visually, it was a hoot to go out our door and see all the rockers and bikers. But, the noise was unstoppable and unsupportable. I really must be getting old.

  1. This is reality. Have you ever take part in one of those games where one person starts a story, the second person tells it to the next, and so on around the room. At the end, the story in no way resembles what the first person told.

RYN: Yes, G started training online last week, and in the middle of the week, when his equipment arrived....like his laptop, he switched to training on that. :)

I'd love to see some photos of those rockers on bikes!

And that cartoon never fails to make me smile... all too knowingly.

  3. As I read your description of the bikers I could almost feel their noise - miles away.
The cartoon speaks volumes. Never saw it before. Have a good day and hopefully much quieter :)

  5. Maggie, love those mixed up stories that come out of whispering the story from one end of a room to another.

LadyFi, There is a whole gallery of photos on the website. Do take a look.

One Woman's Journey, the days have turned quiet again. Bliss.

Planetgermany, thanks for leaving a comment. Always nice to see new faces.
